İsmail Avcıbaş received his B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in Electronics Engineering from Uludağ University in 1992 and 1994, respectively, and his Ph.D. degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Boğaziçi University in 2001. Dr. Avcıbaş’s research interests focus on information forensics and security. He pioneered the development of universal steganalysis methods and has served as a consultant for the Air Force Office of Scientific Research (AFOSR), the Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL), and TÜBİTAK. His research projects on the forensics of digital objects have been supported by TÜBİTAK and the National Science Foundation (NSF).
