İsmail H. Altaş received his B.Sc. degree in Electrical Engineering from Yıldız University, Kocaeli Engineering Faculty in 1985, his M.Sc. degree from Karadeniz Technical University in 1988, and his Ph.D. degree from the University of New Brunswick, Canada, in 1993. His research interests include modeling and control of power systems, renewable energy systems, microgrids, automatic control, intelligent control and fuzzy decision making, artificial intelligence applications in power systems, and cybersecurity in power systems and microgrids.
